  • This book was finished in one flight to the East Coast! There’s never a sober (I mean dull) moment. Very well written, full of little clever/entertaining clauses. Each chapter was enjoyable, where the author’s series of comments/reflections about life and love projected honesty and provoked thoughts. Any woman emerging from her shell would appreciate the “lessons learned”.

  • I know you probably don’t want to hear this since you you just finished the book and have barely had a chance to celebrate…but…I’m on chapter 11 and am already wondering when the sequel is coming! You are an amazing writer, I found myself laughing and smiling from Vegas to LA and now New York!

  • Each page I kept wondering to myself, did she do that? Does she really know how to get noticed and meet men in a group? I liked the way you expressed yourself. What with all the traveling you do, you seem to be a very savvy woman. There is a lot traveling around in that pretty head of yours. I look forward to the next book!

  • I got to know you better with this book. It tells a fascinating/clever story of how ones deal with situations at hand. At the same time filled with entertainment and witty clauses. I found myself unable to put the book down. I look foward to the movie!

  • The Bender Files is a biting social commentary on the zeitgeist of modern single life. It is a savage journey into the psyche of modern open minded women. I would recommend The Bender Files for free spirited, counter-culture inclined people looking for a good time!

  • What I liked most about The Bender Files was the memories it stirred up. I walked the wild side in Tokyo, Washington DC, San Francisco and Laguna Beach in the late 1950s. As Bob Hope used to say, “Thanks for the memories”!

    - Ron Nation, San Clemente CA
  • To me it is definitely a relationship novel. The dynamics of the relationships between all of the female characters and the relationship between Eydie and the men she encounters is really fun. I like the mixture of gangster, glamour/celebrity and friendship.

  • I had the most interesting time reading The Bender Files. I don’t know if it was constant struggle or mighty quest for ideal fulfillment that kept me engaged, but I was most surprised to see refined intellectual prowess strategically etched into the pages.

The key, as it might be, is to stay in a state of constant departure, while always arriving. I have a hunch Eydie Le will continue to surprise us all.

  • Once I started with The Bender Files, it was hard to put the book down until finishing it. Starting with adventures in Las Vegas, it keeps on surprising the readers with almost unbelievable happenings. Although Eydie, the main character of the book has an unhappy relationship to go through and is meeting filthy and strange people, she seems to always make the right decisions and keeps enjoying her life.

  • I had a great time reading this book, it was fast paced and never boring. Sexy and fun. The author had many witty remarks and clauses that I found enlightening and funny. I recommend reading this book.
