Æ Trinh was born in Saigon, Vietnam and fled with her parents to the United States one month before the city’s fall to Communist rule. Her childhood was spent in the suburbs of Minneapolis when Happy Meals still came in a box, it was ok to have candy cigarettes, and Dairy Queen only served ice cream. After earning a degree in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine, Æ moved to Los Angeles for a taste of the glamorous life. There, she discovered the fetid underbelly of the glitterati was just one loose sequin away from being exposed. The author currently resides in Orange County, California.
